Terms of Use

GetMyVision ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at getmyvision.com (the "service"). These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and GetMyVision. By creating an account, subscribing to a Vision, publishing, or paying through the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy page. The privacy page explains what personal information we process. These terms explain how you may use the service, pay, publish, and what happens if the rules are broken. Read them together.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account when these terms or our acceptable-use rules are broken.

If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with a parent or guardian who has read and agreed to these terms. We do not knowingly offer the service to children under 18 as an independent audience.

GetMyVision is a marketplace for limited-time, private Vision series. Authors publish a finite set of episodes. Readers subscribe, confirm their email, and read those episodes in the in-app reader. Authors may offer a paid complete solution at the end of a series. Authors who publish may need an active creator plan once billing is enforced.

The service is provided as-is and as-available. Features, availability, and pricing can change. We do not promise that any Vision will produce a specific business result for a reader or an author. People who access the service from other countries do so on their own initiative and are responsible for local law.

We may monitor the service, refuse or limit access, remove content, and take action to protect the service and our rights. We do not have to monitor every episode. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service, and we are not liable for downtime, price changes, or a decision to stop a feature.

We own or license the service itself: the software, design, databases, and the GetMyVision name and marks. That material is protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access the service for your own use as a reader or as an author using the creator tools. You may not copy, sell, or exploit the platform, the marks, or another author's series except through normal use of the reader.

Authors keep ownership of Vision source they publish. You grant GetMyVision a non-exclusive license to host, store, deliver, and display that Vision, and to feature it when you opt in. The license lasts while the Vision is on the service and for as long as we need to finish delivery already promised and to keep records the law requires. We do not take ownership of your Vision.

If you want permission to use the marks or the software for something else, email support@getmyvision.com. We reserve every right we do not expressly grant. A breach of this section is a material breach, and your right to use the service can end immediately.

You sign in with a Firebase email link. There is no password on this service, and we do not offer sign-in through a social network. We store a mirrored user in our database and set an httpOnly session cookie named __Host-gmv_session on getmyvision.com (Secure, SameSite=Lax, Path=/, host-only — no Domain attribute). You must use an email address you control and keep it accurate.

By using the service you represent that your registration information is true, that you will keep it current, that you have the legal capacity to agree (or a parent or guardian agrees for you), that you will not access the service by a bot or script, and that your use will not break the law. We may refuse, reclaim, or change a public name that is unlawful or misleading.

Account status (including suspended, banned, deletion-pending, or deleted) is decided in our systems. Inactive accounts cannot keep a signed-in session. Safe account deletion is not offered until a later release; contact support if you need help with an account today.

Subscribing to a Vision sends a confirmation email. Delivery happens on the cadence the author set. Unsubscribing stops future episode email for that Vision; it does not delete your reader account.

Episode bodies are read in the private reader. We do not put full episode content in email. Access depends on a confirmed, active subscription and the episode the drip has unlocked. A reader subscription to a Vision is not a paid recurring plan.

Paid features use Stripe. Creator-plan checkout is a recurring Stripe Billing session. A reader's complete-solution purchase is a one-time Checkout payment recorded in integer cents. Platform fees are a documented share of each conversion, withheld in basis points. Stripe decides which cards it accepts. We do not take PayPal on this service, and we do not charge shipping. Prices are not limited to US dollars.

Stripe processes the card. Taxes, refunds, chargebacks, and payout timing follow Stripe and our payout rules. Unresolved payouts can delay later account-closure work. Prices on /pricing and on a Vision offer are the amounts we attempt to charge. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide, including later creator-plan renewals until the plan is canceled. There is no free trial.

Paid access is digital. Where the law gives you a withdrawal right, that right can end once access or a delivery email has started and you have agreed it may start immediately. We do not offer an automatic refund after that point. Support can still review a billing mistake. There is no in-app Stripe Customer Portal. To cancel a creator plan, email support@getmyvision.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not by itself delete the account or reverse a charge Stripe has already captured.

We may refuse an order. Promotional creator-plan prices may expire, and creator-plan list prices may change. Existing creator-plan subscribers may be moved to a later price after notice.

Paying for the creator plan and being paid out for a conversion are two separate things. Subscribing to the creator plan is a Stripe Checkout card payment and is available wherever Stripe accepts that card. Receiving your share of a reader's complete-solution purchase is a Stripe Connect payout, which runs through a Stripe Connect Express connected account and is available in fewer countries.

Some countries may not receive payment for now. As of 12 September 2026, we can open a Stripe Connect Express account for an author in these countries:

This list is a copy of Stripe's published availability on the date above, not a live lookup, and Stripe can change it without changing this page. Your own eligibility is decided by Stripe during Connect onboarding, including any identity, business, or banking requirements Stripe applies in your country.

We operate from a single Stripe Connect platform country and we do not promise cross-border payouts out of it. If your country is not listed, you can still create an account, publish, and subscribe to the creator plan — you cannot yet be paid out for a conversion, and you should not publish a paid complete solution expecting settlement. We do not guarantee when, or whether, a country will be added.

You may use the service as a reader or as an author publishing through the creator tools. You may not use it to run a competing product, to resell access outside those tools, or for any purpose we have not offered.

You may not:

• Break the law, infringe intellectual property, or publish malware, scams, or spyware.
• Harass, dox, threaten, or impersonate another person.
• Publish content that sexually exploits a minor, or any other unlawful content.
• Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service except as the law allows, or bypass paywalls, confirmation, or access controls.
• Upload content you do not have the right to publish.
• Collect other people's email addresses or create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.
• Interfere with security features, or frame the service without permission.
• Submit false reports or misuse support.
• Use the service to compete with us by misusing the software, the marks, or non-public parts of the product.
• Systematically retrieve data or content from the service to build a database, directory, or competing product.
• Trick, defraud, or mislead us or other users, including by hiding where you are or what you are sending.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the service.
• Upload or transmit viruses, spam, or any material that overloads or damages the service or another person's system.
• Use an author's series, a reader list, or a support thread for your own advertising.
• Sell, share, or transfer your account, or use someone else's account, without permission.

We may hide, suspend, or ban accounts after human review of reports. One report is not an automatic ban. We may also remove content that we reasonably believe breaks these terms, without owing you a copy of it.

You are responsible for what you publish and for what you send us. You confirm that you have the rights to it, that it does not infringe anyone else, that it is not unlawful, and that it is not confidential information you expected us to keep secret beyond operating the private reader.

A question, comment, or idea you email about the service may be used to operate and improve the service, without payment to you. That permission does not transfer ownership of a Vision.

We do not offer public reviews or ratings, chat rooms, or social posting. We may edit, refuse, or remove content, and we have no duty to screen it in advance. You will reimburse us for losses that come from your content, from your breach of these terms, or from a third party's claim that your content infringes their rights, as described under Indemnification.

The license you grant us for a Vision is limited to hosting, storing, delivering, displaying, and featuring when you opt in. It is not a sale. Feedback you send about the product, as opposed to Vision source, may be used without restriction or payment, and without an obligation to keep it confidential. That feedback license does not cover episode source.

If you believe material on the service infringes a copyright you own or control, email support@getmyvision.com with: your name and a way to reach you, a description of the work, the location of the material on getmyvision.com, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or the owner's agent.

We may remove or disable access to material that a notice identifies, and we may close accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. A person whose material was removed may send a counter-notice to the same address, stating that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification. We may restore the material if the law requires it. We do not publish a separate postal address for these notices.

The service links to or relies on other companies, including Stripe, Firebase, Google, and our email provider. Their sites and tools are not under our control. We do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or for a purchase you make with them except for the Stripe charges this page describes. We do not sell advertising placements, and we do not let third parties run banner ads on the service.

The service, Visions, and complete solutions are provided as-is and as-available, at your sole risk, to the fullest extent the law allows. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for unauthorized access, loss of data, or content an author publishes. Some places do not allow these disclaimers; there they apply only as far as permitted.

To the fullest extent the law allows, GetMyVision and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, or for amounts above the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits; there they apply only as far as permitted.

Where the law allows, you bring a claim individually and not as a class, collective, or representative action. These terms do not appoint a court or an arbitration body. Rights that the law does not let either of us waive still apply.

You will defend and indemnify GetMyVision and its operators against any third-party claim, loss, or reasonable legal expense arising from your content, your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights. We may take exclusive control of a matter you would otherwise have to cover, at our expense, and you will cooperate. We will use reasonable efforts to tell you when we learn of such a claim.

These terms stay in force while you use the service. We may deny access, suspend the service, or delete an account and content, with or without notice, including for a breach of these terms or of the law. If we terminate or suspend an account, you may not register again to evade that decision, including under another name.

We may also pursue any remedy the law allows. Sections that should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and this termination section, survive.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including a feature, a price, or the availability of a Vision, with or without notice. We are not liable for a modification, interruption, or discontinuation, including maintenance, a failure of a processor such as Stripe, Firebase, or email delivery, or an event outside our reasonable control such as a network outage, a hosting failure, or a government action.

We do not guarantee that the service will be available at a particular time or that a delivery email will arrive in a particular inbox. A reader's access still depends on a confirmed subscription and the episode the cadence has unlocked.

We may update this page. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. For a material change, we will post the update here or email the address on the account. The update applies from the date on this page, or from the later date stated in that email. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

We may also correct an error on the service at any time. A correction to a price or a description does not by itself change a charge Stripe has already captured, except where the payments section says we may fix a billing mistake.

Visiting the service, sending email, and completing checkout are electronic communications. You agree that agreements, notices, and records we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing, to the extent the law allows. You waive any right the law lets you waive to receive a paper copy or to pay by a non-electronic method.

These terms and the Privacy page are the entire agreement about the service. They replace earlier understandings about the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience and do not change the meaning.

We may assign our rights and obligations. You may not assign yours without our written consent. A permitted assignment binds successors. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship. We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control.

If you have a complaint, email support@getmyvision.com first and give us a reasonable chance to look at it. Where the law allows, you bring a claim individually and not as a class, collective, or representative action, as the limitation of liability section says. These terms do not appoint a court or an arbitration body.
